When I said "YES" to a man proposing myself to marry him...at that time, instead of just being a wife, I also make myself promise all these things:
- To be his best friend for life
- To be the one who share his fun, his sadness
- To be the one who listen when he has a bad day
- To be the one who hug him and make some tea when he is sad
- To be the one who is waiting at home with the lights on for him to come home from work so that my day brightens
- To be the one who walk hand in hand with him
- To be the first one who remember his birthday at 12.00 am
- To be the one who know how to piss him off in just only one second
- To be the one that get bitchy and he'll have to put up with me:)
- To be the one who love every ridiculous little things about him
- To be the one who will be able to finish his sentence for him:)
- To be the one to sing a song to him on long car trips
- To be the one who get jealous so easily if I catch him looking at another girl
- To be the one who remember all of his stories from growing up and always fascinated every time he re-tells them
- To be the mother of his children
- To be the one who want to make love to him every single night
- To be the one who will promise to love and honor him for good
Throughout life I will meet one person who is like no other. I could talk to this person for hours and never get bored. I could tell this person things and he will never judge me. I can show my true self even though there are may be a side of myself that I want to hide in order not to make myself loosing him.Throughout life I will meet one person who make myself realize that there is a part of me never want to let him go away because I think that my life would never be the same again without his presence.
Throughout life, I might only have one chance to meet that one special person...And only to one special person, I will said happily "I DO" to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part:)
